After more than 20 processes, the alloy steel is transformed into wear-resistant and torsion resistant mining drill bits. After acquiring the "diamond" ability, Changyangsheng has opened up a new track and successfully transformed from a traditional mold steel smelting enterprise to a special steel deep processing technology company under the guidance of the government.
The mold steel industry was once a traditional advantageous industry in the Xisaishan area, but with the intensification of industry competition, product profits have continued to decline. In the context of high-quality development, how traditional enterprises can break through has become an urgent problem to be solved.
Last year, the Xisai Mountain area strengthened policy guidance to promote the transformation and development of enterprises through technological innovation, which pointed out the direction for enterprises.
After conducting in-depth market research, Zhang Qingping, General Manager of Changyangsheng, ultimately focused his attention on special alloy drill bits. This type of drill bit is specifically used for specific scenarios such as mining rock drilling and engineering excavation, and is a high-frequency consumable component with huge market demand.

The key to the service life of drill bits lies in the steel material. Our company has a great advantage in producing drill bits by retaining the mold steel smelting production line, independently smelting alloy special steel, and adding various rare metals during steelmaking to ensure the toughness and wear resistance of the steel. Compared with producing mold steel in the past, the efficiency of producing drill bits now is two to three times that of the past, "said Zhang Qingping.
Next year, after the national patent application is approved, Changyangsheng plans to invest an additional 60 million yuan to develop drill bits with better performance in various application scenarios, further expand production scale, improve product quality, and promote products to the international market. The plan is to achieve an annual output value of 150 million yuan within three years.
